As part of Ilocos Norte’s commitment in promoting sustainable measures for the protection of its environment, the Plastic Recycling and Materials Recovery Facility, a project by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) located in the Municipality of Marcos will soon begin its operations.

The Municipality of Paoay, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) and the Philippine Canoe Kayak Dragonboat Federation (PCKDF), hosted the 3rd Paoay Lake Dragon Boat Festival at the Paoay Lake National Park on April 28 to 30, 2023.
